Chapter Twelve

Yoko sat down in her seat in history class, all the female students now wearing the winter uniform, and took out her books. The bell rang and class began, Chimaru already writing notes on the board. He looked over at Yoko, out of the corner of his eye, and saw Hanako trying to comfort her. He sighed and kept writing the notes.
'Baka...' he thought. 'I should just quit this job and go find work at another school.' He finished writing the notes and sat down at his desk, moving a little whenever someone needed to see the board behind him. He stares at his cup of coffee and sighed. His eyes drifted over to Yoko and snapped back to his desk when she made eye contact. He bit his lip and crossed his arms, grumbling a bit. 'Yoko...' he thought.


"Yoko!" yelled Chimaru as he ran after her to catch up. Yoko stopped and turned around, looking at him. He smiled at her as he reached her and sighed.
"Nani, Mauno-sensei?" she asked. He blinked and just looked at her, confused. He hugged her and kissed her, blushing. Yoko pushed away from him and kept walking.
"Yoko...nani?!" he said. She stopped and looked at him, tears forming in her eyes.
"Don't make this harder than it already is!" she said.
"Yoko...o-negai, just-" he stopped and ran forward, turning into Loki. Yoko blinked and looked to her left. She gasped and made to run, seeing the male wind demon. He was in mid-air, his scythe on his back and flying right towards her. He grabbed her, right before Loki reached them and jumped up onto a light post, the female wind demon appearing below them. The male smirked and held a knife to Yoko's throat. Loki growled, unsheathing his sword, and glared at them. "Let her go!" he yelled. The female smirked and unclipped her fan.
"Nai." she said and unfurled her fan. Loki growled and reached behind his scabbard, gripping a hidden dagger. He pulled it out and threw it at the male demon. Loki went wide-eyed as the dagger stopped in mid-air and turned around.
"Bad move, Loki-sama." Loki gasped as a hand appeared on the dagger and Umiko slowly appeared holding it. Mizuko appeared beside the female demon and both of them smirked. The female demon brought her fan down and her, Yoko, and the male demon were surrounded by a tornado.
"LOKI!!" screamed Yoko.
"YOKO!" yelled Loki. The tornado vanished and they were gone, Umiko and Mizuko remaining. Both of them smirked and ran at Loki. "Dakedo...we killed you!" he said, blocking their attacks with his sword.
"Not quite!" said Umiko. Mizuko smirked and swiped at him, scratching his face. "Mizuko...don't hurt him...much." said Umiko. Loki swiped at them with his sword and they both vanished.
"Kuso." he said, his sword vanishing. He turned back into Chimaru and ran to Chiyoko and Ryuujiga's house.


"Chiyoko!!" yelled Chimaru as he banged his fist on the door. Chiyoko opened the door and blinked as he walked in. "Where's Ryuujiga?" he asked.
"Right here." answered Ryuujiga, from the table. Chiyoko closed the door and looked at Chimaru.
"Get Toru and Sakura here...Yoko's been taken." he said, changing into Loki.
"Nani?!" snapped Chiyoko and Ryuujiga. There was a knock on the door and Chiyoko answered it, Loki going into the kitchen. Sakura and Toru both stood at the door and walked in.
"Two demons just came up outta the earth!" said Toru.
"And took Hanako!" said Sakura, crying.
"What about Tsuyosa and Tsuyomi? asked Chiyoko.

Yoko blinked and looked around the room she was in. She saw Hanako, in her demon form, floating in mid-air on her right, and was unconscious. Yoko realized that she was also floating and in her demon form.
"So Yugure has woken up." said a blonde-haired, yellow-eyed male demon. He smirked and cupped her cheek. Yoko growled and went wide-eyed as she realized she couldn't move. He smiled and moved his hand to her chest.
"Tachi!" yelled his male twin, with blonde hair and brown eyes. Tachi grumbled and moved his hand away.
"Why can't I have a lil fun with her Tashi?" he asked. Tashi glared at him and growled.
"Because Akureimaru-sama said we aren't to harm them or touch them!" said Tashi. Tachi pouted and walked away. Tashi looked at Yoko sadly and held her hand. "Gomen nasai." he said and bit his lip. The male wind demon appeared at the door and looked at Tashi.
"Tashi! Come on!" he said. "Akureimaru-sama wants us."
"Yosh, Kazeki." said Tashi. He went over to Kazeki and blushed as he kissed his cheek. Yoko blinked and went wide-eyed. Kazeki and Tashi left, leaving Yoko and Hanako alone.
'Yukio-kun!' she thought, before her world went black again.
