Toru grumbled, looking at his watch and waiting. Chiyoko sighed as she walked out of the math class.
"Last test." she said, smiling. He nodded and they went down to the commons to wait for Sakura.
"One week left and then next grade" said Toru as he sat down. ((A/N: In Japan the school year goes like this...they have a two month summer break...but they start the next year in April, not September like most of us...so Chiyoko and Toru are in grade 11, in one week's time, they'll be in grade 12^-^))Chiyoko grinned.
"Here's hoping we pass." she said.
"Un.." said Sakura as she walked up to the table. She sat down on Toru's lap and smiled.
"What did you just write?" asked Toru.
"History." answered Sakura. Chiyoko smirked.
"Did he actually type it out this time?" she asked. Sakura nodded, giggling and blushed as Toru kissed her cheek. Chiyoko sighed, leaning her head on the table. She then got up and took a few to the vending machines. She pulled out her wallet, took out some coins and got 3 Vanilla Cokes, 3 Starbursts, 3 Mars Bars. She sighed and walked to the table, placing the items in the middle. They all grabbed a Vanilla Coke, Starburst and Mars Bar and opened the cans.
"My memory is coming back." said Chiyoko as she sat back down.
"Of what?" asked Sakura.
"Of my death..." she answered, after taking a sip of her pop. Toru and Sakura just stared at her.
"I was raped." she said, quietly as she set the can down. "By Loki." Both of them went wide-eyed.
"Loki?!" said Toru.
"Hai." said Chiyoko, tears forming in her eyes. She blinked, making them go away and took another sip of her pop.


Chiyoko and Toru headed home, Ryuujiga have to write an after school final at his school.
"I still don't remember anything." said Toru. Chiyoko sighed.
"I'm the only one..." she mumbled. Toru put his hand on her shoulder and smiled weakly.
"Daijoubu." he said. she nodded and smiled weakly. Her expression then changed to anger.
"Nani?" he asked.
"Demon...Loki, Umiko and Mizuko to be exact." she muttered. He went wide-eyed and was about to open his mouth when she took off.
"Chiyoko-chan! MATTE!" he yelled, running after her.


Chiyoko kept running, headed towards the Kamihinotori shrine. She ran up the steps and saw Loki, Umiko and Mizuko. She stopped, breathing heavily and then slowly moved forward.
"Loki!" she yelled. Umiko and Mizuko looked up and smirked, jumping at her. Toru ran up the stairs just in time to see them run at her.
"Chiyoko-chan!" he yelled. Chiyoko raised her arm in front of her and Umiko and Mizuko were blown back against some trees. She sliced her hand down and her sword appeared in her hand, her body changing to her demon form and her clothes changing to a blood red haori and hakama.((A/N: ^^; I watch WAAAYY too much Inuyasha u.u))
"Chiyoko-chan..." mumbled Toru. Chiyoko smirked, and walked forward.
"Hinochi..." mumbled Loki, his eyes still soulless. Chiyoko vanished and reappeared behind Loki. He turned around just in time to block Chiyoko's attack with his sword. Chiyoko growled and jumped back against a tree. She then rebounded off the tree and jumped at him again. He dodged her, but wasn't expecting her to put her sword into the roof, swing around and kick him, knocking him off the roof. He hit the ground, his sword sliding ahead of him and out of his reach.
"Loki-sama!" yelled Umiko and Mizuko, trying to get at him, but were stuck against the tree. Chiyoko turned him over, after landing beside him, and put her sword to his chest. He looked up at her and she went wide-eyed. She muttered something and waved her hand. He gasped, his eyes going wide and then went unconscious. She made her sword vanish and slowly returned to normal, standing back up. Umiko and Mizuko ran towards them, but were thrown back by Chiyoko again.
"Toru-kun!" she yelled. He ran forward and up to them.
"Help me lift him up." she said. "We're taking him home to get answers." He nodded and helped her lift him up. Chiyoko carried him on her back, not even wincing or her limbs even shaking as she walked forward, Toru walking behind her to make sure she wouldn't fall.
