Chapter Fourteen

Chiko and Shiya walked to the Hinotori shrine after school, both of them holding hands. Chiko wore her uniform and so did Shiya. Shiya's was a blue version of Chiko's, except his had pants. Chiko blushed and smiled, Shiya did the same. Chiko giggled and kissed his cheek. Shiya went beet red and swallowed. Chiko smiled and froze.
"Yomato-san?" she asked. Yomato, who stood in front of them, smiled and nodded at them.
"You're Namida-kun's imouto?" he asked.
"Hai." answered Chiko.
"And you're Seiya-kun's ototo?" he asked.
"Hai." answered Shiya. Chiko blinked and backed up a bit.
"Shiya-kun...let's go." she said. Yomato smirked and changed into his demon form. Chiko and Shiya both jumped back and glared at him. Yomato jumped at them and Shiya dived at Chiko, knocking her aside. "Shiya-kun!!!!" she screamed as he went unconscious. Chiko's whole body began to glow white and her clothing vanished. The glowing stopped and she had white hair, white eyes, a white kimono, pointed ears, claws and her silver circular mirror was clutched in her hands. She looked at Yomato and glared at him. "Get away from Shiya-kun!" she yelled and raised her mirror. Yomato chuckled and created solid metal arrow. He held it between his index and middle finger and smirked. Chiko growled and created a duplicate of his arrow in her mirror. She closed her eyes and the arrow shot at him. Yomato went wide-eyed and stumbled back, the arrow in his chest.
"Kuso..." he muttered. He growled and vanished. Chiko ran over to Shiya and fell onto her knees beside him.
"Shiya-kun! Shiya-kun!" she said, shaking his arm. He opened his eyes and looked at her.
"Chiko-chan?" he asked. She nodded and held his hand against her cheek. He smiled, blushing, and rubbed her cheek. She smiled and kissed him.


"Chiko!" called Namida "Chiko!" Namida and Seiya were looking in the wooded park next to the shrine for Shiya and Chiko, but so far no luck.
"Namida-kun! Over here!" called Seiya. Namida ran over to Seiya and saw Chiko and Shiya. Chiko was resting her head on Shiya's chest, both of them were unconscious and hurt.
"Chiko..." muttered Namida. He sighed and picked up Chiko. Seiya picked up Shiya and both of them headed back to the shrine.


Chiko woke up and looked around her room. She yawned and scratched her chest through her uniform shirt.
"What happened?" asked Namida, who was standing at the door. Chiko sighed and began to tell him.


Yomato hissed as Yako slowly removed the arrow. He growled and sighed in relief as the arrow went out. He lied down and his wounds began to heal.
"I'm surprised you didn't just absorb it." said Yako.
"It wasn't my own....I couldn't." he said. Yako sighed and watched him as he fell asleep.
