-kun/-san/-chan = kun and chan are for friends, animals, and san means Ms., Mrs. or Mr., usually used as a sign of respect.
oka-san/-sama = mom/mother
oto-san/-sama = dad/father
matte = wait
itte kimasu = I'm going but I'll be back
ittarasshai = response to itte kimasu
oi = hey
bento = boxed lunch
itadakimasu = said before eating a meal/Japanese version of grace.

Chapter One

Mauno Namida was a 17 year old boy with dark red hair, brown eyes, and dark skin. He groaned as he got of bed and slowly began to get dressed in his school uniform.
"Namida-kun?" asked Yoko as she opened his door. "Oh, good. You're up." He pulled on his black pants and did them up.
"Oka-san! Do you mind?!" he snapped. Yoko blushed and closed the door. Namida sighed and pulled on the grey shirt. He sighed as he put on his blood red uniform jacket and sat down on his bed. He pulled on his grey socks and then headed out of his room.


Loki hugged Yoko from behind as she finished making breakfast and smiled. She giggled as he kissed her cheek and placed his hand on her belly.
"Loki, stop it!" she said, laughing. He purred and stopped as Namida and his younger sister walked into the room. Namida's younger sister was 14 years old, had long black hair, brown eyes, and dark skin. She wore a pale violet shirt with a dark violet sailor bib and dark violet cuffs (both having gold stripes), a dark violet tie, a dark violet knee length pleated skirt, knee high pale violet socks, and a dark violet sailor's hat. Both of them sat down at the table and smiled as Yoko dished out breakfast.
"How many more months left, oka-san?" said his sister.
"Only two, Chiko-chan." answered Yoko. Loki grinned and Namida shook his head. He wolfed down his breakfast and took his dishes to the sink.
"I have a horny incubus for an oto-san." he said. Loki glared at him and grumbled.
"Matte, onii-chan!" said Chiko. She choked down her food as he put on his black shoes and ran over to him. Chiko put on her black buckle shoes, and grabbed her violet backpack while Namida grabbed his brown briefcase.
"Itte kimasu!" they both said.
"Ittarasshai!" said Yoko and Loki. Chiko and Namida waved and left.


Namida waved at Chiko as they reached her school, and she waved back. He sighed and continued to head to his school.
"OI! Namida-kun!" Namida turned around and saw Seiya.
"Oi Seiya-kun." he said. Hinojigoku Seiya, was a 17 year old boy with silver hair, green eyes and fair skin, also wore the same uniform as Namida, and was a little shorter than him. They smiled and headed to school.


Namida and Seiya sat down at lunch and opened their bento boxes.
"Itadakimasu." they both said and began to eat. Namida blushed and Seiya turned around to see who he was looking at. Seiya blushed also, seeing a group of girls, one of them with violet hair, brown eyes, and bronze skin.
"Yamichi Kaira..." said Namida.
"Un." said Seiya, swallowing. Kaira turned her head and saw Namida and Seiya looking at her. Seiya and Namida blushed madly and looked away. Kaira blinked and giggled.
"I wanna ask her out." muttered Seiya and Namida. They both glared at each other and growled.


Namida sighed as he entered psychology class. He sat down in a seat beside Kaira and took out his notebooks. Kaira looked at him and smiled.
"Oi." she said. He blushed and swallowed.
"Oi." he said, looking at her out of the corner of his eye.
"Yamichi Kaira des." she said.
"M-Mauno Namida des." he said.
"Mauno-san...you're captain of the boys' soccer team." said Kaira. Namida nodded, turning redder. "And your family runs the Kamihinotori shrine." she said.
"Hai." he said and swallowed. She smiled and began to take down notes. Namida sighed and did the same.


Namida and Seiya walked home, both of their faces beet red.
"Yamichi Kaira..." both of them mumbled. They sighed and stopped in a park. Seiya sat down on a swing, while Namida leaned against a pole.
"Namida-kun, what's that?" asked Seiya. Namida looked up and saw what looked like a small girl, about 8 inches tall, with white hair, fair skin, and wearing a silver dress, running towards them. She was crying and ran behind Namida's leg. He looked down and picked her up. She looked at him, her eyes silver and pupilless, and sniffed. Namida wiped away her tears and smiled. Seiya stood up and looked her over, "What is it?" he asked.
"A demon, I think." answered Namida. All of a sudden a large demon came bursting out of the tree. The little white demon shrieked and jumped onto Seiya. "Hold onto her." said Namida. He stepped forward and changed into his demon form. He now had blood red eyes, darker (almost black) red hair, fangs, claw-like nails, bat wings on his head, and back wings on his back. He now wore a studded black collar, black hakama, and a black and crimson sash that hung down between his legs (A/N: yes, he's shirtless). He reached over his shoulder, a black scabbard with a broad sword inside, on his back and unsheathed it. He growled and ran at the demon. "SHINE!" he yelled and sliced his sword through the air. The demon froze and then slowly split in half. Namida sheathed his sword and frowned as the demon turned to dust. He looked back at the white demon as she jumped into his arms and caught her. She smiled and giggled as she looked up at him.


Namida sat down at his desk, eating his chicken yakisoba, and looked at the white demon.
"What is your name, I wonder." he said and sighed. She eyed his food hungrily and he held out a piece of a noodle for her. She opened her mouth and ate it. "O-namae wa?" he asked. Yukiki smiled and grabbed his pencil. She held it up and slowly wrote her name on his loose-leaf. She put the pencil down and smiled at him. He looked at the writing and smiled. "Yukiki is it?" he said. She nodded and grinned. Namida smiled and gave her some more noodles.


Namida pulled off his shirt and pants and pulled on his pajama pants. Yukiki sat down on his pillow and blushed, watching him. He laid down in bed, after setting his alarm, and covered himself up. Yukiki snuggled against his neck, laying down on his chest, and sighed. Namida blushed and covered her up a bit. He then smiled and the two drifted off to sleep.
