Chapter Eighteen

"We go into their domain and force them out." said Loki. "Yo'll take care of Hiruko and Kin." Hanako and Yoko nodded, both of them in their demon forms. They were all standing by the tree in the Kamihinotori shrine, looking at the tree. "Yosh! Here we go!" said Loki. He and Yo raised their swords and sliced the tree in half. They both stepped back as a black portal appeared in front of them. "Get ready!" yelled Loki. "Hold you breath!" They all held their breath as the sound and air was basically gone, and it began to suck them in, the sound and air returning.
"KYAA!!" yelled Hanako and Yoko. Yo and Loki hugged them and jumped into the portal with them.


"Itai..." muttered Yoko. She blushed and got of Loki. She saw Yo and Hanako standing up, and smiled. They headed down a long corridor and saw Akureimaru and Akumako appear at the end of it. Yoko drew her two katana and Hanako made her bow and quiver full of arrows appear.
"SHI-NE!" all four of them yelled. Hanako shot her arrow, while Yo, Yoko and Loki ran at Akureimaru and Akumako. Akumako caught the arrow in between her fingers and narrowed her eyes. Hanako gasped and then jumped back as Kazeki and Kin appear in front of her and jumped at her, their weapons drawn. She made her bow vanish and her scythe appeared. She swung it at Kin and Kazeki, but they blocked it. Kin smirked, running his sword along her scythe. She jumped back again and Yo threw the crystal at her. She put it onto her scythe and sliced Kin in half.
"KIN!" screamed Hiruko. Tachi, Tashi, Kazeko, and Hiruko had all appeared and ran at Loki, Yo, and Yoko, protecting Akumako and Akureimaru. Tashi ran over to Kazeki just as Hanako raised her scythe again.
"IYA!" he yelled, pushing Kazeki out of the way and getting sliced in half instead.
"TASHI!" screamed Kazeki and Tachi, Kazeki having tears in his eyes. They looked at Hanako and jumped at her.
"Gomen nasai, Kazeki, Tashi." she mumbled. She then sliced them in half and cried. Yo, Yoko, and Loki killed Kazeko and Hiruko and ran over to Hanako. Yo hugged her and rubbed her back.
"Daijoubu." he said and kissed her tears away. Hanako looked at Akumako and Akureimaru and growled. She charged at them with her scythe and swiped at them. Akureimaru caught her scythe and smirked. Yoko, Yo and Loki all charged at them and swiped at them with their swords. Akumako and Akureimaru stepped back, a scythe and sword in Akumako and two swords in Akureimaru. Loki, Yo, Yoko, and Hanako took their weapons out and raised them again. Loki's body began to glow red, Yo's body glowed silver, Yoko's body glowed violet, and Hanako's body glowed yellow.
"SHINE!" they all yelled and struck. Akureimaru and Akumako screamed as they were sliced in half and exploded. Yoko, Yo, Hanako and Loki were blown back against a wall and knocked unconscious.


"Itai..." grumbled Yoko as Loki lifted her up. He smiled at her, and she smiled back.
"Daijoubu, we're back home." he said and kissed her, cradling her in her arms. Yo and Hanako slowly got up and looked back at the tree. The tree looked like it had never been destroyed or even cut down. They all smiled, covered in cuts, dirt, and blood.
"It's over." said Hanako and she kissed Yo. Yo smiled and returned the kiss, hugging her tightly. All of them then began to laugh and headed to the bath house.


Back at the end of the corridor, the pieces of flesh and body parts and bits, began to move back together. They slowly reconstructed themselves and began to form into something. The being opened it's red eyes and growled, fully healed now.
"I'll have my revenge, Yugure and Yoake!!" she yelled. "I, Akumako, promise it!"
